9.00 am: after Mass commemorating the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel, and the breakfast, we gather together in the Chapter Hall for the program and the organization of the day.
The moderator, Sr. M. Laura Grigis invites the sisters to work on the proposals to amend some points of the Constitutions and on the text of the General Directory that should be approved number after number by the same Chapter. Meanwhile the laity continue to work to present their lines of action.
Until 12.50 am with two breaks of fifteen minutes each, we read, analyze, discuss and vote the changes proposed for the Base Document on about ten numbers of the Constitutions.
At 3.30 pm: after a short earned rest, we go back to work in plenary which includes:
- to finish the work on the Constitutions
- to listen to the presentation by the General Bursar, the financial status of the Congregation relating to the 6 past years
- to start analyzing the General Directory that must be approved for each number, having regard for the proposals made by each community
Our work finishes at 7.00 pm, leaving the Hall for a time of personal prayer and silence until 7.30 pm, for dinner time.
There are still some hours of work for the Secretary of the Chapter, Sr. M. Lara and her assistant Sr. M. Stefania, and other groups of sisters who have received further assignments
